As I was talking with my new friend Tarakay about the decisions we must make in life, I made a few meaningful comments, and she said, "you should write that on your blog! Right now!" ...I can't really remember what I had said. Sorry. :)
I was able to have family home evening with my parents and my brother Josh before I returned to Cedar City. We talked about the importance of fasting, and where the money from our fast offerings goes. There is such a need for us to serve each other, and to help each other to get by in life. Sometimes when I need more motivation to get my schoolwork done, if nothing else will motivate me, the last motivator I keep in the back of my mind is that it is my duty to prepare, so that I will be able to have a steady income, and in turn be able to help those who have not had the opportunity to be as ready to face life.
One thing that I think about while I am away at college, is all of the opportunities I had to learn from my parents, and how much more experience they have with life than I do! They are wonderful examples to me. I don't appreciate them enough.
